Norton Self Storage Auction Terms
Norton Sun Self Storage has the right to refuse or cancel any sale. Payment must be made within 48 hours of the auction ending. Payment must be made in order to gain access to the unit. A cash deposit of $100 is required, refundable only after ALL Items are removed and unit is left broom swept. You may only have access to the unit during business hours, unless cleared in writing with the manager. All items must be removed within 72 Hours of sale. Items cannot be discarded on site or left inside or outside of the unit. Unless a rental agreement is signed, any items not removed within the 72 Hours will be deemed abandoned and may be disposed of, in any manner, at the sole discretion of Norton Sun Self Storage, without further notice to the buyer. All units must be left clean with all items removed no later than the deadline stated above. All deposit amounts shall be retained if the unit is not left in this state. Failure of buyer to abide by this or any other sale term will result in denial of future bidding rights. The buyer is requested, and acknowledges it is their responsibility, to leave any personal papers, which may include but are not limited to documentation containing personal identifiable information such as legal documents, tax returns, bank statements, passports, identification cards, etc., and personal photographs found within the unit with the manager.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (Norton Self Storage) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
