Plum Storage Auction Terms
1. We are an offsite management company, please call our office @ 406-541-7956 for information on how to access the unit. We are located at 425 N. 5th St Suite E. This is the location you will need to pick up the key to the unit. Our office is open Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. 2. We do charge a $100 refundable holding charge that will be returned to the card on file after the completion of the move-out inspection. All items must be removed from the unit, and no items left behind in the drive lanes or at the facility. The unit must be broom-swept. 3. Any personal items found in the unit can not be returned to our office. 4. We do not accept cash, only debit or credit cards.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (Plum Storage) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
